The Dodo

Once the king of all creatures feathered, the Dodo ruled with might and respect from the ground. The island of Mauritius was his kingdom until driven into extinction by Dutch immigrants. Could he be protecting the last remaining egg to carry on the powerful family line?

Frankly you can pass this off as an oil painting.The fantasy element is so uber dominating.

Seriously had you been in Tenniel's era, you could have given him a run for his money.
