Glad you like it. It's one of my favorites, too, even thought it's a little different from my others.

excellent mastery of your medium - are you using watercolor, acrylic?
your ability to describe texture and form, while presenting the study in
such an unusual way - is very appealing. very nice.

Thanks for your wonderful comments. I use pastel on paper. It's a very quick, enjoyable medium. Trying to break out of the pastel stereotype. Using it in a tighter, yet still expressive way.

I like the contrasting warm color that the giraffe provides against the sky for the other animals.

Nice work!

Yeah, it is a little different, but I wanted to treat this as a study in form instead of a big idea kind of thing. Thanks for digging it. Your stuff is really good. I checked out your gallery.

I love the totally detached look about this. This is like the micro-perspective of a mural. But it's a bit dull, no?Or maybe this is what you mean it to be? :)

thanks. I actually meant this to be a little different than the rest of my stuff. No big concept, just a study of form. Treating them like specimens. Took focus off "personalities" to draw the eye into the pure form and relation to each other. Plus, I just felt like doing it.
